ROAD TRIP || PART 3 - Kayaking, Hiking & More Kayaking (plus turtles!)
In the last part of the road trip, we stay a night in Golden, BC.. Then the next morning we drive to go meet up with my buddy Jay to do some kayaking, then we set up camp in a campground, go for a hike, then we did some more kayaking at an other lake!! Which we saw a bunch or turtles.. worth the watch :)
The lakes we had stopped at were Bains Lake and Silver Springs Lake and Burton Lake (not in that order).
This was filmed with the Sony AX-53, Olympus TG Tracker & DJI Mavic 2 pro.

What to do if your DOG wrecks your tent!
Переглядів 1344 роки тому
In this tent modification video I'll show you what to do if your dog makes a hole too big for a patch! Add a doggy door of course! I got some bug netting and Velcro to repair the area. As you will see I stitched the velcro on then proceeded to cut out the damaged area into the proper shape for the new material. After all the materials was stitched in place, I put some crazy glue over the stitch...
First Kayak Trip 2020 (Delta 17 Kayak)
Переглядів 2,6 тис.4 роки тому
Took my Delta 17 out for a paddle a Thompson Lake Regional Park here in Saskatchewan. I also did some fishing with my Wormy fishing rod. I finally got my new roof rack for my car, so I decided to take the kayak or for a rip around the lake. It was decently windy so I had to paddle across the lake and pull over to throw on the kayak skirt. I struggled to put it on just to realise that I forgot t...

This simple fishing trip turned into a dog rescue mission for Kilo I just moved to Moose Jaw so I decided to take Kilo out to do some fishing. While we fished I thew a stick a couple times to get him to jump into the water. We headed up to Prince Albert National Park for this camping adventure. Finally got to test out my Delta 17 Kayak :D!! Nice Video! Regarding the radio. If you look up on the Periodic table you will see that calcium is a metal. And since our bones are mostly calcium, you could say our skeleton is made of metal. Calcium is not a near as good as a conductor as other metals, like iron, copper, zinc, gold, etc, but it still has some conductivity. When your buddy put his hand near the radio, he in essence became an antenna. Using your body as an antenna can work if you have a remote car starter. If you open your mouth, put the car starter under and against your chin, you can sometimes start your car 10-25 meters sooner than if you didn't use that technique. Fun fact, eh? 😁

    I use these a lot and they burn for 5-6 minutes with normal matches. I don’t soak with lighter fluid though. It stays lit perfectly without. I’ve done it but just seems unnecessary so far for me at least. Making a new batch with my kid this week.

    You said a new job has held you up some but where have you been for 2 years? Even if you only do a video a month there is never enough outdoor adventure and bushcraft. Even amature stuff because people like to know they are not the only ones that have to do something 2 or 3 times to get it right. Although if you are going to review small towns or do outdoor adventures, you shoupd choose one or the other per video. They don't mix that good for most people. Check out Posa and see how he does it. I can watch his videos endlessly if I have some time to do that. Don't give up.

    Just a quick note here A slingshot is classed as a firearm in the mountains here,dont fall into the trap of thinking its just a slingshot, that can lead to a whole world of troubles.

    • @ThePioneerChannel
      @ThePioneerChannel 2 роки тому

      Don't think that would stick in court lol.. if you look at the federal definition of a firearm, it clearly says a barreled weapon.. but depending on what you're trying to shoot could be poaching unless you got proper tags.. but rabbits and certain squirrels aren't controlled by hunting regulations.. but yes in national parks like banff you'd get in big shit.. but I wasn't in a national park

    • @davebloggs
      @davebloggs 2 роки тому

      @@ThePioneerChannel national parks provincial parks and now under the new bill 64,and 79 they have tightened up all the regulations and that includes firearms . many of the freedoms like using a slingshot have been basically ignored in the past are now controlled the same as provincial parks so all crown/public land use etc comes under the same banner. any firearm is now defined as anything that can launch a projectile and kill anything. your slingshot can be used with arrows as well but all im saying here is be very careful as things have changed now and they are clamping down, the days of the tin can shooting alley in the back woods are now under different rules. criminal code I agree firearm is basically a gun but under parks etc its anything that launches a projectile and can kill.
